My Little Treasure

Well folks it's Friday already and Black Friday at that - my lucky day!
So me thinks I might take myself op-shopping.
This little treasure was discovered this week just sitting ever so quietly on a shelf just waiting to be picked up, appreciated and taken to a new loving home.  Yes, it needs a little TLC but I'm willing to take on this challenge as this little school house is something to be treasured and adored.

Have a great week-end everyone!

Doilies!

I have been receiving some gorgeous goodies lately to add to my craft stash.  This is the latest.
My parents were holidaying in Yamba and yep, they went op shopping for me!
This is the booty that they brought back with them.......

Sew Hard

Meggy Green is trying something new.
I am forever trying new things, some work and some definately do not work.
I have recently tried to make some bunting and although only straight lines are required I have found this new technique somewhat difficult but fun. What do you think?

Golden Books Through Time

There are hundreds of Golden Books floating around this wonderful country of ours and i just wanted to show you a small example of how the books differ with time.  For example this is Sleeping Beauty as seen in the 70's (i know this because it is my book) -

The next book is a more modern version of Sleeping Beauty

Two totally different covers and the insides are different as well.  Personally I prefer the older imagery as it reminds me of my childhood and the movie (which was seen at the drive-in!)

The Shy Little Kitten is just another example of different covers.  Which one do you prefer?

Twilight on Friday Night

Had a fantastic night at the BrisStyle Twilight Markets on Friday Night.  Mother Nature was smiling on us and made it such a gorgeous night with crafty ladies in abundance.  It was great to meet my customers, talk all things crafty and papery goodness.

Thought i would show off some of the things you liked.

If you have a book at home that you would like me to make into a journal please do not hesitate to drop me a line.

You can find Meggy Green on Facebook Too!

Twilight Night in the Big City

Well it was my first Twilight Market with the BrisStylers and what a fantastic night it was.  Despite the wild weather and the fact that two certain famous people were getting married all of us girls set up a fantastic display of homemade goodies.  Looking forward to the next Twilight May 27th in the King George Square - Brisbane City.
